Hot Cars, Hot Pavement, Just Plain HOT! Hangout at 9 AM for some COOLNESS!
So, who be the fools? Tuesday morning Over the Hill Gang’s Gears, Grub, and Mud couldn’t keep a couple of crazy VW (No A/C) guys away, so Burly & I drove our air-cooled (wind-wings fully turned) outfits to breakfast. Got back home at about 1:30 and sweat soaked clear through everything, but I still had a huge smile on my face and kept cruising around town just because I could. What a great group of folks down Mesquite way. We had a table with a couple we had never met before who ended up in Mesquite after leaving Colorado because of crazy winters, went to Lodi, CA probably because of crazy crime and ended up in our beautiful desert and seem very happy about it. Thanks for the great visit John & Sandy. The St. George contingent is always a strong presence at the OHG’s functions and are always made to feel welcome.
Please note: I have started putting the Desert Rodders Car Club Calendar on my “Car Show Events” page just below my own list of functions. TL is much more proficient and efficient about keeping things straight. Events → http://www.myatrium.com/car-show-events/
