Gettin’ Ready for Spring

For me, the best part of the year is getting ready for Spring to pop out. It is always great to see all the folks getting their rides ready for cruising and showing. The old adage, “Spring Cleaning”, doesn’t just pertain to yards, houses, and shops……Classics and special interest vehicle are just itching to get out there. As Shane says, “Be there or be square.”

February 1^st – Wednesday – Recurring Weekly Event – Hot Rod Hangout at Cracker Barrel – 9:00 AM – 1736 Convention Ctr. Dr. – For all things fun with friends enjoying and sharing vehicles – EVERYONE welcome – Organized by Car Guys Care – Contact Shane for more details carguyscare@gmail.com The feature vehicle this week will be “Tri-5 Chevrolet Cars”.  Please back into the 8 spaces adjacent to the side of the restaurant. February 2^nd – Thursday – Drive to Boulder City, NV for lunch – weather permitting. Meetup at 9:30am at the Shivwits fuel station and will depart about 10 AM. Bring your National Park Pass. The drive is about 150 miles each way just to BC, it should be a good workout for your wheels. The lunch location has not been secured as of yet. As usual, I plan on the least amount of I-15 travel as I can. If you would like to do this drive let me know, so I can give the #’s for our lunch reservations. thedaytrippers@live.com
